First Real Post

Okee Dokee. Heres wes goes. Until I started going to the UW, Home woOF the Dawgs. Gotta give a shout out to KP. Anyhow until I started going here I never really had anytime or cumputer w/ Internet to read all y'alls blogs UNTIL NOW! It has been good to read some of yous guyses stuff. If you haven't noticed I am just blabbering or blog blabbering or blab blogging, or just whatever.
Okay a little seriousness. Today as I was making my way from a killer mid-term exam, that I ran out of time to finish, I ran into some brothers of ours from Marysville, passing out tracks and asking people they would like to read some good news. I was able to stop and talk to them and encourage them. But what I really want to say is that my heart was grieved at so many people walking by and ignoring them, especially because they were sharing the GREATEST NEWS EVER. I wanted to stand on those stairs and yell at everybody to wake up repent of their sins, and understand the news that these men are giving them. Then I remembered that the Good news is the worst news to many because it will be a witness to them as to their wickedness and evil depravity. Because of this so many people hate the Good News of Jesus Christ because they know He is the Way, the Truth and Life, and they want to be their own gods and dictate their own way, truth, and lives. I had a discussion with a fellow employee at the orange box last night and he said that everybody as long as they believe in some higher power than themselves they will go "heaven" or be "saved." This was also a grievance to my heart but later on I talked to Christian brother of mine who works nights at the Home Depot and we got into a discussion about Calvinism and its relevance. That was very encouraging. The best part of it all was the prayers were answered. The prayers of my beautiful wife. She prayed at dinner that I would be light at work and God gave me plenty of time to shine the light of Christ.
I guess I hope this to be an encouragement to all who read this to SHINE and ABOUND in love, especially in you love for God, who alone is worthy, and because you love him love and serve others without reserve. I pray that we all will do this and we will be Christocentric in our love and seek (seeking as a madman for more gold) truth and righteousness which is by Christ, for the glory and praise of God, alone.
